and Early Career

Rao Yusuf holds an MBA from Punjab University, which has immense business acumen and has contributed hugely to his working life. Rao Yusuf joined the media in 2000 and gained valuable experience in operations and management.

Regional Manager Operations: He served as Regional Manager Operations in Orient McCann Erickson, one of the large advertisement agencies, where he developed expertise in planning and execution.

Media Manager: He was also the Media Manager of WAVES Industries, further expanding his experience in brand management and marketing.

These experiences became the foundation blocks of his entrepreneurial attitude and subsequently opened the door to his achievement in the fashion and textile industry.

Transition to Fashion and Textile

In 2006, Rao Yousuf shifted his focus to the fashion industry, combining his creativity with his business expertise. A year later, he established Needle Crafts Pakistan, a platform that has since become a beacon of professional training in embroidery digitizing and digital textile design.

He once again enhanced his own qualifications by choosing professional education in Digital Textile Design from the Pakistan School of Fashion Design, in order to be able to present industry-relevant course material.

2007: Founded Needle Crafts Pakistan with the intention of addressing the growing interest-demanding needs of the fashion textile industry.

2008: Launched professional training programs in Wilcom Digitizing, Embroidery Sketching, and Digital Textile Design, filling the industry-need gap with academic training.

Since its start, his company has certified more than 12,000 design lovers, who now work for leading fashion companies and textile industries around the world.
